Huge MAC haul July 2013 - My MAC Starter Kit 1

Hallo und einen schönen guten Morgen
meine lieben Leute!

Heute möchte ich euch von meiner großen MAC Juli haul berichten.

Ich gugge immer sehr viele YouTube Videos und Make-up Tutorials, weil mich das sehr interessiert und da ist mir aufgefallen, dass sehr viele YouTuber Produkte von MAC verwenden.
Ich muss ehrlich sagen, ich kenne die Marke schon sehr lange und habe bereits 2006 jahrelang den eyeliner von MAC gekauft, da ich mich mit dem leichter getan habe, als mit anderen eyelinern. Ich habe auch einige Lippenstifte von MAC daheim aber sonst nicht wirklich etwas anderes.

Das meiste Make-up, das ich zuhause habe, ist von DM, Bipa oder Müller, also eher normale Drogerieprodukte, weil ich finde, dass da auch viele tolle Sachen dabei sind und ich nie zu viel Geld für Make-up ausgeben wollte. Aber in letzter Zeit hatte ich große Probleme mit meiner öligen Haut, dass die auch bei matten Foundations immer so zu glänzen beginnt und ein weiteres Problem mit den Concealern, dass die sich immer so in meinen kleinen Falten, die ich unter den Augen habe, ablegen und es dann mit Concealer schlimmer aussieht, als ohne Concealer.
Durch viel googlen und YouTuben bin ich dann auf die Foundation STUDIOFIX von MAC gestoßen und war sehr beeindruckt von dem matten Finish, das diese Foundation macht. Desweiteren habe ich gelesen, dass der MAC Pro Longwear Concealer sehr gut sein soll.

Also habe ich für mich selbst beschlossen, dass ich gerne High-End Produkte verwenden möchte und mich mit einem "MAC Starter Kit" einzudecken. Gesagt, getan, bin ich vorgestern zu Douglas und habe einiges von MAC eingehamstert:

Zuerst habe ich mir als feuchtigkeitsspendende Basis das Mineralize Charged Water gekauft (EUR 36,-)

Da die Foundation leider keinen Pumpkopf hat sondern, nur so eine Flasche zum Aufdrehen ist, habe ich mir zusätzlich dazu den MAC Foundation Pump gekauft, damit ich nicht so viel herumpatze haha. (EUR 4,-)

Für meine Augenbrauen und als Lidschatten habe ich mir die Farbe OMEGA gekauft (EUR 17,50)

 Ich muss dazu sagen, ich suche schon sehr lange nach einer passenden Farbe für meine Augenbrauen. Da ich hellblond bin wollte ich auf keinen Fall zu dunkle Augenbrauen haben und auch nichts rot-stichiges. Über Google habe ich gelesen, dass der OMEGA Lidschatten sehr beliebt ist bei vielen Leuten. Ich habe der Verkäuferin bei Douglas nichts davon gesagt und habe sie um ihren Rat gefragt, was sie mir empfehlen würde und da war ich sehr beeindruckt, als sie sofort zu dem OMEGA Lidschatten griff und meinte, dass das eine gute Farbe für mich ist. Wir haben den Lidschatten auch gleich direkt im Shop aufgetragen und er hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich ihn auch gleich eingehamstert habe.

Für den äußeren bzw. hinteren Bereich der Augenbrauen habe ich mir den MAC Penultimate brow marker gekauft (EUR 19,-)

Zum Auftragen und Verblenden des Lidschattens im äußeren Bereich der Augenlider habe
ich den Pinsel Nr. 217, MAC Brush gewählt (EUR 25,-)
Ich habe ihn heute morgen auch schon direkt gleich mal ausprobiert, deswegen sieht man Farbe darauf auf dem Foto :)

Da ich gar keinen einzigen Puder mehr zu Hause hatte, dachte ich mir, ok, wenn schon, denn schon und habe mich für den MAC Mineralize skinfinish Puder in natural entschieden (EUR 28,-)

Zu guter letzt ein Produkt, das ich schon seit über 5 Jahren durchgehend immer wieder nachkaufe: der DUO Adhesive Wimpernkleber, ich komme super damit zu recht und er hält bei mir ewig, da ich falsche Wimpern vielleicht 2 bis 3 Mal im Monat trage. (EUR 12,-)

Ich hoffe meine MAC Starter Kit Haul Part 1 hat euch gefallen,

drückt mir die Daumen beim Schminken!
Ich möchte auch unbedingt einen 2. Teil machen, wo ich dann nur Lidschatten
kaufen werde und einen 3. Teil, wo ich mir dann die Pinsel zulegen werde.
Ich habe mir schon einige Lidschatten aus dem Internet rausgesucht und bin
gleich mal auf 30 Stück gekommen lol ja ich weiss. pff
Ich werde mir natürlich keine 30 Lidschatten an nur einem Tag kaufen, aber ich möchte
schon so eine kleine Grundausstattung haben, es werden wahrscheinlich
mindestens 5 bis zu maximal 10 Lidschatten werden.
Von den Farben her habe ich mir auch schon Gedanken gemacht. Ich mag sehr gerne
erdige natürliche Töne wie braun, beige, grau, aber ich möchte auch etwas mit Glitzer in
Richtung Gold und Bronze, da ich gerne im Sommer so einen Bronzy-Look schminke.
Von grellen Farben bin ich kein Fan von, da ich finde, dass diese bei brauen Augen nicht so toll
aussehen, sowas gefällt mir persönlich bei blauen Augen viel viel besser als an mir selbst.
Ich würde mich natürlich sehr freuen, wenn ihr das nächste Mal auch wieder vorbeischaut.

Vielleicht verwendet ihr ja auch das eine oder andere Produkt von MAC,

das ihr liebt ? Würde mich interessieren, was das ist!?

Hello and good morning my lovely people!

Today I want to write my huge MAC haul of this month.

I love watching make-up tutorials on YouTube, I find them often very interesting and also helpful. While watching a lot of tutorials I noticed that many YouTubers use products by MAC. I have to be honest and say that I know the brand MAC for a very long time. I used to love their liquid eyeliner, I bought this back then in 2006 and used it for several years again and again cause I found it easier to use than other eyeliners I also bought from time to time different MAC lipsticks but not more. Most of my make-up that I have at home is from local drugstores like in Austria DM, Bipa or Müller. I think in the US it's CVS, cause I think there are some really great drugstore products and I never wanted to spend too much money on make-up. In the last time I had some serious problems with my oily skin, that all the foundations (even if they are matte and oilfree) let my skin shine way to much. Another problem of mine is, that the drugstore concealers (f.e. L'Oreal or Maybelline) bring out my under-eye wrinkles more than if I would not wear any concealer.
After a lot of googeling and watching YouTube I came across the MAC Studofix fluid foundation and I really liked the matte result from what I could see. Also I read that the MAC Pro Longwear concealer does not bringt out the under-eye wrinkles so much like other concealers do.

Sooo I decided for myself that I want to use more highend products and get myself a "MAC Starter Kit", so I went to my next MAC selling point (Douglas) and started to buy haha

The first thing I wanted to have was the MAC Mineralize Charged Water. I tried it out in the store and I really liked it. I want to use it not as my main moisturizer - but I want to apply it over my moisturizer as a base for my make up cause my skin even if it is oily, dries out on some places very fast. around 47 US Dollar.

Then I took the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. I hope that this is good. It was about 23 US Dollar.

MAC Studiofix fluid foundation, I also tried this in the shop and it made my oily skin looking so matte I took this baby straight away in my shopping bag. It was about 35 US Dollar.

As the studio fix fluid foundation has no pump to apply I also bought the MAC foundation pump. It was about 5,- US Dollar.

Let's continue to the eyebrows. As I am blonde I was look for a really light ashy color, not too dark and nothing with red in it. On google I found out that a lot of people with lighter hair color like me recommend the MAC eyeshadow OMEGA for their eyebrows. I did not say that I read this to the seller in the shop. I asked her what she would recommend me for my eyebrows and I was really impressed as she picked the OMEGA eyeshadow sttaight away and said that this would be the right color for me. I also applied this in the shop to see if it fits and I actually liked the ashy look, so this baby also came home with me. It was about 22 US Dollar.

For the outer corners of my eyebrows I wanted to have something darker then the OMEGA shadow though cause I don't have so much hair growing there at the moment, so I took the MAC Penultimate brow marker. This is like a darker shade of brown, this marker comes only in one color and I liked it. It was about 25 US Dollar.

For applying and blending out my eyeshadow on the outer corners I decided to take the MAC Nr. 217 brush. It was about 32 US Dollar. I already used it this morning (that's why it its some color on it)

As I had absolutely no powder at home anymore I also thought, ok, let's get some MAC powder. I took the MAC Mineralize skinfnish powder in natural cause so many people use this and I wanted to know how good this really is. It was about 36US Dollar.

Last but not least I bought my all time favourite lash glue, the DUO adhesive lash glue. I have this for years now and buy it again and again. This lasts soo long since I use false lashes only 2 or 3 times a month. It was about 15 US Dollar.

Yaaay that was my MAC Starter Kit haul Part 1.
I want to do a Part 2 where I will just buy some MAC eyeshadows,
and also a Part 3 where I want to buy just MAC Brushes.
I already did some research in the internet again what eyeshadow colors are popular,
what colors look good an certain types and I found 30 colors that I like lol... pff I know haha
I won't buy 30 eyeshadows on just one day lol but I want to pick up at least
minimum 5 up to maximum 10 eyeshadows, mostly I love neutral colors like brown, beige, grey
also something bronzy and golden cause I love to do a bronzey-look for my summer make up...
I am not so into exciting bright neon colors, cause I like such bright looks rather on people with blue eyes and not with brown eyes, but this is just my personal opinion.
